Get Involved

Friends and stakeholders alike often ask how can they make a difference and get involved with the noble work and mission of the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities.  There are three pathways to achieve this purpose.

Volunteering to the work of NJID is an excellent way to provide new meaning to your life by participating in the important services provided by NJID.  Time and talent and a loving heart are essential ingredients for a valuable volunteer.

"Those who  Those who can do more...volunteer."

Making a financial contribution to NJID helps to ensure that vital services will continue for children and adults with disabilities.  Donations provide financial empowerment to NJID which in turn gives hope to many for a brighter tomorrow.

"It's not how much we give to charity but how much love we put into giving."

-  Mother Teresa

Employment Placement Program

The success of NJID’s Employment Placement Program is reliant upon the cooperation of the local business community. NJID’s professional staff has enabled adult clients to develop excellent job readiness and work skills. All that is needed now is the opportunity to work.

"The best preparation for good work to do good work today."
